Jack Jeffrey is a Researcher at the Fairness Foundation. He has experience conducting and coordinating research across a range of issues, particularly constitutional reform, polarisation and social stratification, and green industrial strategy.
After graduating with an MA (distinction) in the History of Political Thought and Intellectual History from Queen Mary, University of London, he joined the think tank Compass. Supporting the leadership team and board, and an extensive network of academics, policy makers and politicians, he worked on multiple high-impact research projects, and authored several reports. Since then, he has worked for several other NGOs, think tanks and trusts, contributing to all stages of the research process.
He joined the Fairness Foundation in April 2024 and leads on its wealth inequality work. He also works freelance on other research projects, and co-edits the quarterly journal Renewal: A Journal of Social Democracy.
