Jack Jeffrey is a Researcher at the Fairness Foundation. He has experience conducting and coordinating research across a range of issues, particularly constitutional reform, polarisation and social stratification, and green industrial strategy.
After graduating with an MA (distinction) in the History of Political Thought and Intellectual History from Queen Mary, University of London, he joined the think tank Compass as a Research Assistant. Supporting the leadership team and board, and an extensive network of academics, policy makers and politicians, he worked on multiple high-impact research projects. After being promoted to Research Manager, he coordinated research and editorial output and authored several reports.
He now works freelance, and has worked for several prominent NGOs, think tanks and trusts, contributing to all stages of the research process, from conceiving potential projects and organising seminar discussions to developing insights and policy solutions. He joined the Fairness Foundation in April 2024 and leads on its wealth inequality work.
