Vertical inequalities are inequalities between individuals or households, such as income or health inequalities (as opposed to horizontal inequalities, which are inequalities between groups, such as people of different genders or ethnicities).

OVERALL: Wealth and income inequalities top the list, but other inequalities worry people almost as much
POLITICS: 2019 Labour voters are 19 points more worried than Conservative voters, except on health
AGE: Younger people are generally more worried than older people, except about health inequalities
REGION: People in Wales, Scotland and the South West worry more about inequalities, but London and the North West stand out on health inequalities
INCOME: Concern about inequalities is greater among people with higher household incomes
OTHER: Levels of concern are higher among women, ethnic minorities and people with more education
