Arun Advani is an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Warwick. He studies issues of inequality, tax compliance, and tax design, with a focus on those with high incomes or wealth. In 2020, he was one of three Commissioners at the Wealth Tax Commission. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, a Senior Visiting Fellow at the International Inequalities Institute, and a Research Associate of the CAGE Research Centre. From 2020-22, he was a member of the Department for Education's Skills and Productivity Board.
